Description

Small Animal Fast Insert for MRI (SAFIR) is an ultra-fast pre-clinical PET insert for a commercial Bruker MRI system, allowing in-vivo quantitative PET imaging within a few seconds, compared to minutes in commercially available systems. It is a joint venture of University of Zurich and ETH Zurich targeting unique pre-clinical research applications.
